Activities are organized by activities therapist Jane.
The garden is available all year round and is used by our residents in outdoor activities and to relax. With the recent addition of permanent gazebos the residents and their families have free use of this when they come to visit
As well as activities for residents we are constantly training our staff in the newest and most advance way of treating and caring for the elderly.
These include:
- First Aid
- Food Hygiene
- Fire Training
- Manual Handling
- Tissue Viability
- M.U.S.T (Nutritional Assessment Tool) Training
- Abuse (and how to recognize it)
- Infection Control Training

We celebrate various Seasonal events throughout the year, including Christmas, Halloween and Bonfire Night.
We also celebrate the Clients Birthdays, Especially the special milestone.
Over the Summer we have had weekly themed BBQ's for residents, friends and family which have been great fun and very well supported. it has given everyone the opportunity to enjoy the taste of food from other countries.
In June 2010 Langdale took part in Music In the air week Air Week, an event held by N.A.P.A. in care homes around the UK to encourage residents to enjoy the outdoors with summer themed events held over the week.
